Nate Wentzel
Senior Designer & Sales Consultant
Celebrating 30 years with Dakota Kitchen and Bath in June, Nathan is a true example of dedication and craftsmanship. He began his journey on the production floor, gaining firsthand experience in how our cabinetry is built from the ground up. That deep understanding now sets him apart as our top designing salesperson. Nathan blends technical know-how with an eye for design, helping clients bring their dream spaces to life with both style and precision. His long-standing commitment to the company and our customers is evident in every project he takes on — making him not just a team member, but a trusted expert in custom cabinetry.
Kate Higbe
Retail Design Salesperson
With over 12 years at Dakota Kitchen and Bath, Kate has grown from a Sales Assistant into a skilled and trusted Retail Design Salesperson. Her journey reflects both her drive and her deep understanding of custom cabinetry — from behind-the-scenes coordination to leading clients through the design process with confidence and creativity.
Kate is known for her approachable style, attention to detail, and passion for helping homeowners create spaces that reflect their vision. Her blend of experience and enthusiasm makes her a valued resource for both new clients and repeat customers alike.
Ashley Seaman
Retail Design Salesperson
Ashley brings a strong background in both design and customer service to her role at Dakota Kitchen and Bath. With several years of experience in each, she blends creativity with a client-focused approach — making her a valuable part of our design team.
Her passion for helping clients feel confident and inspired throughout the design process shines through in every interaction. Ashley’s eye for detail and friendly demeanor help turn cabinetry visions into beautifully finished spaces.
Hayden King
Retail Design Salesperson
Hayden began his journey at Dakota Kitchen & Bath as the first to step into our newly created Sales Apprentice role, designed to develop future leaders in custom cabinetry sales. With an Associate Degree from Lake Area Technical College, he quickly built a strong foundation in design, customer service, and the Dakota process. After gaining valuable hands-on experience supporting Retail Sales, Hayden transitioned into a Retail Salesperson position, where he now works directly with customers to bring their visions to life. His fresh perspective, collaborative spirit, and commitment to learning make him a trusted partner for clients and a rising leader within the Dakota team.
Katherine Narigon
Retail Sales Assistant
Katherine has been a part of Dakota Kitchen and Bath for 5 years, serving as a Retail Sales Assistant to Nathan Wentzel. She brings a unique blend of creativity and technical skill with dual Associate degrees in Graphic Communications and Architectural and Construction Engineering.
Katherine plays a key role in supporting the sales process, helping bring custom cabinetry designs to life with precision and efficiency.
Liz Schavee
Retail Sales Assistant
Liz graduated from South Dakota State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design. During her studies, she gained valuable experience as a student design assistant and through an Interior Design internship, where she built a strong foundation in design principles and customer support.
At Dakota Kitchen and Bath, Liz serves as Kate’s Sales Assistant, providing essential support to the retail sales team while continuing to grow her knowledge in custom cabinetry and client-focused design.
Jessica Meister
Retail Sales Assistant
Jessica joined Dakota Kitchen and Bath in June 2022 and serves as a Retail Sales Assistant supporting Kate Higbe. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior and Product Design with a minor in Construction Management, bringing both creative insight and technical knowledge to her role.
Jessica’s attention to detail and design background make her a valuable asset in ensuring a seamless experience for our clients from concept to completion.
Dealer / Outside Sales Team
Our Outside Sales Team partners closely with our Dealer network and handles retail projects
beyond a 100-mile radius of the Sioux Falls metro area. With a strong foundation in design,
quality assurance, and decades of industry leadership, this team ensures that Dakota Kitchen and
Bath’s commitment to craftsmanship and service extends far beyond our local market. Whether
collaborating with dealers or working directly with homeowners, they bring expertise,
responsiveness, and custom cabinetry solutions to every corner they serve.
Emily Schuette
Dealer Sales Manager
Emily leads our Dealer Support team with a strong eye for detail and a deep understanding of both design and production. With a background in Electrical Engineering, she brings a technical mindset to the custom cabinetry world—ensuring that every plan is accurate, efficient, and production-ready. Though her path began in engineering, Emily was drawn back to cabinetry and now plays a pivotal role as the key connection between our Dealer Support staff and our Outside Sales team. She works closely with Don, Craig, and Lacey, helping to turn design visions into beautifully built realities.
Craig Pierzchalski
Dealer Sales Representative
With 7 years of experience in Dealer Sales and many years in quality control and process improvement, Craig brings a detail-driven mindset and a passion for precision to every dealer relationship. He’s known for supporting dealers with practical solutions and smart design insights, helping them deliver top-notch results to their clients. Craig is an integral part of our evolving Outside Sales team and a trusted partner to our dealer network.
Lacey Williams
Dealer Sales Representative
Lacey joined Dakota Kitchen and Bath nearly five years ago and quickly made her mark. Starting as a dealer designer, she transitioned into Outside Sales two years ago, where her architectural drafting and building construction degree from Mitchell Tech shines through. With a blend of technical knowledge and design savvy, Lacey partners closely with our dealers to bring custom cabinetry projects to life — all with her signature professionalism and approachability.
Kayla Kneisl
Senior Designer
With over six years at Dakota Kitchen and Bath, Kayla brings creativity, precision, and a deep understanding of interior design to the Dealer Support team. She holds an Associate Degree in Interior Design from Alexandria Technical and Community College and plays a key role in preparing detailed plans for production.
As Senior Designer, Kayla also steps in to lead the team in Emily’s absence, ensuring seamless support for our dealers and outside sales team. Her design expertise and dedication help keep projects on track and beautifully executed.
Teresa Petersen
Designer
Teresa joined Dakota Kitchen and Bath in October 2023, bringing with her a solid foundation in drafting and design. She holds an Associate Degree in Architectural Drafting from Southeast Technical Institute and supports our Dealer Support team in preparing detailed, production-ready plans. Teresa’s precision and technical skills make her a valuable part of ensuring every design is accurate and ready for the shop floor.
Abby Buchmann
Designer
Abby joined Dakota Kitchen and Bath in August 2024 and has been steadily developing her expertise as a Designer. A graduate of South Dakota State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, she brings a thoughtful and creative perspective to the Dealer Support team.
Abby is deeply involved in the custom cabinetry design process and is committed to ensuring that accuracy and attention to detail meet the demands of our production process.
